I came in early to see Jay in the drive way asking me where the filters are. He was under the impression that I hadn't called Greg Yates to order more of them, you know cause I am such a slacker and don't follow thru with any of my tasks. Anyways I told him that I had called Yates on Valentine's day and had asked Mr. Yates to deliver, there is even a message saved on the voicemail verifying my order. However, Mr. Yates had not delivered. I called Mr. Yates as soon as I walked in the door and he let me know that he would be by this afternoon to drop off said filters and install a new one.
Greg didn't want to step on any "drunk" toes but, the filter that was in, was installed upside down and it was in no way full of dirt and in need of change. The filters that he brings are extremely expensive and have the capacity to hold much more filth than a $1.58 filter that some "intoxicated" gardeners purchase at Wal- Mart for instance. Now I am laughing as I write this, but Jay was on some heavy duty medications yesterday, Wedad can attest to that fact.
Mr. Yates wants everyone to know that whomever changes the filter needs to pay extra special attention to the installation directions, so that the filter works much more efficiently. Mr. Yates is always super diplomatic and would never place blame, so I am only repeating his very delicate words.
After I placed the phone call, I showered Bill and Wedad got him dressed. Bill and I went to Dr. Khaled's office to get his INR checked again. He has been on 5 mg of Coumadin for the last week and will continue until he is rechecked. His INR was 2.2 which is exactly about where it should be. There was some controversy about Bill needing to go back on Monday vs. Tuesday, but I called this morning and the front desk girl had no idea what I was talking about so the appointment is still set for Tuesday at 2:15pm.
Night ran smoothly--- both slept well. Fleming's pest control came by and then Casey Was stopped by to have Bill and Jean sign some documents. He stayed for awhile and talked to Jean about some of his plans, she was very excited for him and talked about throughout the day.
After Casey left, I got the showered and dressed and we headed off to Bahu's office for an echo cardiogram. Bill's heart is doing much better than they expected. Prior to the surgery his heart was pumping at 25%, today the echo showed that Bill's heart is now pumping at 45% which is a dramatic increase and quite a shock to both the echo tech and the St. Jude's rep. They said that those are wonderful results and much better than they had hoped for. I mentioned to the tech about Bill falling lately and that most likely it was attributed to the Coreg, she said we may want to mention to Khaled that she saw signs on the echo of COPD disease in the lungs and that may also be a contributing factor to his shortness of breath and general dizziness.
That information of course was off the record, but she wanted us to know that it might be a cause. Bill has an appointment with Khaled on the 14th of March, so that is definitely information that should be talked about. Also, Jennifer, I saw a note a few weeks ago from Dr. Villareal that was supposed to be passed on to Dr. Khaled. Was that information ever shared with him, if not maybe you could bring it along with you to his next appointment.
After the doctor's we went to the Sugar Bowl, the host was rude and nasty I won't go into detail, but I left a note for the manager about the hosts behavior. I asked the cashier not to deliver it until the end of the day, but as we were walking out the host/manager/owner confronted me in the door way and told me he was very nice and accommodating to all his patrons. I stood there in shock that he would have the nerve to 1. defend his behavior and 2. to tell me I am the one with the problem. Anyways, long story short... we are not going back to the Sugar Bowl.... Bill and Jean agree that we will have to find an equally delicious hot fudge sundae somewhere else.
After the Sugar hole, we drove to Tempe to get their nails done. It is a drive, but that nail salon is the best in town. They worked on Bill's hands for at least 45 minutes and on Jean's feet and hands for at least an hour and 15 minutes. The girls massaged Jean's feet and legs for over a half an hour and they are soo nice. Jean bought some creams that they used on her. After that we came home.

Thanks for the detail on Jay Joanie
Thanks for all the details ladies. It really helps us. Why don't you call Farooqi and ask for an antidepressant. He was on one for a bit. I am not suprised he is hungry. All that surgery, healing is a lot of work for his body.
Right next to V's on 48th Street and Indian School is the Brandon Alexander Salon....I go to Greg (no commments on MY hair, puhleeeze) 602-997-1700 if that is an option.
Bill MUST call one of you when he needs to leave the bed until he gets his legs stabilized. Can he remember that? If he breaks a hip? Jennifer...how is your back?
New furniture for the outside? I would remind Jean that she is moving and she needs to get new furniture for where she is moving to....next year sometime. Now is not the time to rehab that area.
Thank you all very much for you input on Jay. I have a clear idea on his job description and laughed my ass off. I have posted my opinion in visual layout form...

February 22-24th Weekend Jennifer
Weekend went pretty smooth. Bill still pretty much the same, I hope we can get him to a Gerontologist and see if we can get him on an antidepressant that maybe will help him get out of his funk. He seems to be back to his old eating style, despite all our efforts, he still tells me he's hungry after eating the "lumber jack Ruth breakfast".
I used my dryer cleaner from the outside port, tons and tons of Jeans tissues came out, maybe the dryer will work a little more efficiently.
Cookie coming today at 1pm to take Jean to lunch with her and Kerry and Jordan. Bill doesn't want to go. I am however going to have him shower and shave. I would like to get him to V's maybe this Friday when Melissa stays with him for Jeans results at Khalids, I can then come and get him and take him to V's, for a good clean up.
Jean wants a new hairdresser, she seems to think Liz only works one day a week now, and I don't think she likes the location. She's taking about going back to Jackie, "olena goes to her" Don't even get me started on Olena. Anyway, Jackie is OK, but she moves too much, twice Jean and I showed up at appointments and she wasn't there, as she had moved salons. What about a mobile beautician? they do nails and hair, we don't have to worry about covering shifts? and They don't charge any more, than these Scottsdale/PV ones Jean goes to?
The monitor in the kitchen is broke, God forbid your running water or putting away silverware, you cant hear them call you at all. I think it may just need a new 3.6v rechargeable battery.
Bill was walking to bathroom with his walker, I was making his bed, I looked up and found him just stopped in his tracks, and the seat of his pants, sitting out while he had his arms braced between the door jamb, I ran over the obstacle course (trash can, table and lamp) and put my arms around him, Thankfully I could use my leg to hook the antique, chair, and slide it over to him. But you all know the chair I'm talking about, its got embroidery on it, and if a fly sat on it, they would collapse it. So that was just a temporary solution. I was able to have bill lean on me with his legs straight out and drag him to his chair, like a fireman so to speak. My back is paying the price for that feat today.
More importantly Bill is okay, as the case has been, he just says he gets up and hes goes week in the legs. I know Melissa took all the Coreg out. So my next guess was something called Orthostatic Hypotension, where your b/p cant compensate for you quick movement. But Bill really doesn't get up quick, he scoots to the edge, debates about it, stands partially up then fully then stops again then he takes off.
I would mention it to Khalid, when I take Jean. I'm fearful of the day I cant get Bill up or its unsafe to move him, and the gate house will not come help you, especially if its at night, as there is only one of them, and Bill wants up immediately.
Jean has been pretty good, a little snappy and on edge, I will order the Dudley tower of pears she wants from Harry and Davide, and I bought stamps for her Carson and Ryan bday checks.
She's back on the pool deal, "i want all new lounge chairs, and lights, and flats, and a waterfall, and rugs and torches etc etc. " she has about 3000.00 of items from Frontgate checked off, Do i tell her Jean your moving to the new condo, and you have a person that takes care of the pool there, you can use that money for something else. Bill not keen at all on moving!, He has made several remarks to me, "well that wont happen for another year or two" It told the new bedroom can be set up the same with a TV lounge as it has so much room in what Joan now uses as an office.
House all cleaned up, Jean showered, Beds made, garbage's all emptied. Not much detergent left.
PS more netflix if you can Ruth, they love them, Jean is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO sick of cspan, and CNN and all the debate boring repeats. Can you order tv series too? like Murder she wrote of Golden Girls?

Tuesday 19th/Thursday 21st Ruth
Arrived early to find Jean and Wedad in the bathroom getting ready for Jean's stress test. The latest appointment I could get was at 9am and Jean was not to happy about going to any more doctors. She has had her fill of medical professionals, but was a real trooper about it though. The nuclear tech at Khaled's office placed an I.V. in Jean's hand upon arrival, Jean and I sat around reading magazines. After an hour, Jean was scanned by the large camera. After another hour they injected Jean with Adenosine and monitored her heart for 6 minutes. The Adenosine, mimics stress on the heart, the way a treadmill would affect our heart. She did fine with that drug and was able to continue with the procedure until the nurses were satisfied. Bill could only take 2 minutes of it, before he asked them to stop. After the Adenosine, we read more magazines and after another hour they scanned her heart again. We were at the office for a total of 3 hours, we left and headed to the Quilted Bear. I ordered lunch from the car and we picked it up.
Drove back to the house, gave Bill and Jean lunch. Wedad had showered Bill while Jean and I were out. Wedad and I helped Bill get dressed and then Bill and I headed to Khaled's office again to get his INR checked. Bill had been on 5mg of Coumadin since 2/15, because his INR was still too high. This week his INR was 1.6. It should hover between 2-3, but Khaled recommended that Bill remain on 5mg and be rechecked in a week. I made a follow up appointment for Tuesday the 26th. After Bill and I arrived home, Wedad went to the grocery store to get some much needed supplies.
Wednesday- the evening was quite... both awake late. Made artichokes for lunch and then showered both Bill and Jean and got them ready for Dr. Campbell... Dr. C was glad to see them, it had been quite awhile since we had been in the office.
(Dr. Campbell is their podiatrist that cuts their toe nails every 61 days, we have not been in since Halloween.)
I made appointments for Bill and Jean to be seen by Dr. Lesueur (the dermatologist) to a full body check up.
Does anyone know if Greg Yates delivered the air filters, I spoke with him on Valentine's Day and he said he deliver them soon?
Thursday- Melissa arrived at 9am to sit with Bill while I took Jean to her echo cardiogram appointment. She did great.
Appointments- 2/26- Khaled's for INR
2/27- Bahu's office for echo cardiogram on Bill
2/28 Follow up appointment with Khaled for Jean- results of tests

What does Jay do?? Ruth
Don't forget- that he rants and raves while 2 inches from your face. Dodging his flying spittle is a feat in and of itself. Jennifer summed it up in a nutshell, but I had to add my piece.

WhAT DOES JAY DO? Jennifer
Walks in like he owns the house,
Dump all the ice into his cooler
Make his beans and chilli lunch
Sit on the brick wall, drinks beer and eats lunch
Jaime, the helper, cleans up the rocks, trims bushes, and makes sure the water sprinkler is working. They dont do much, jean likes it to be overgrown and "natural" looking, and there is no yard per see, no grass.
Then he "bitches" the whole time about what a bad job we all do of keeping the house clean, and how Cookie was such a hard worker. Then he critiques every other professional job ie: "that dam ______ (fill in the blank, pool guy, Yates, bug guy) is a jack ass and doesnt know what hes doing." As Jay is a know it all yet cant do it all.
Then he goes and pops back to say hi to Mom and Dad (aka Bill and Jean) and gets Jean all worked up about how xmas lights are stored or that "one of them dam girls moved your plants" etc.
Yup thats pretty much Jay in a nutshell. Oh and he takes an obscene amount of money to do this.

A goofy question Joanie
Can somebody give me some detail on what Jay does in the yard? thaaaankyouuuu

Feb 14th to Weekend Jennifer
Sorry for the delay, Here is the weekend update.
Thursday Vday was pretty quiet, Jean enjoyed all her flowers and candy she recieved from Bill for vday. She spoke to Cookie who called to wish them a happy vday, Jean then invited her to Bday girls on Friday, as it was Teddy's bday and Jean was NOT keen on Bill and I having to go to with her. She seemed anxious that Bill would rush her through lunch with the bday girls. Bill was not excited in the least to go to lunch, he really doesnt wanna do anything, I think its a combination of his rib fx and the fact that he has fallen or about to fall everytime he goes out.
Jean very busy moving and re arranging all over the house. She really really wants silver stripes painted on her black table now. She had me look all over for silver paint, all I could find was Pewter kit. I told her I would let Cory know about it. She had me move pics, and rearrange some of her nik naks. She had about 50 pages torn out of 5 diff magazines that she wanted to buy, most of the stuff she already owned.
Friday- Showered Jean and Bill, Bill really needed it as he spilled his urinal all over him, so it was necessary for him to shower, he just wanted to change his clothes, but I insisted he needs to have a good shower. It took a little prodding but he did it. Jean dressed and ready for Cookie, she arrived at 1130 and took Jean to El-chorro for lunch with the bday girls.
Around 2pm I called to find out where they were, which was at Biltmore Shopping, she said Jean went to tons of stores, and asked what cards Jean had, as she was using the cash she took out for bday girls, I told her amex must be with Jean as Bill doesnt have it. It was, they only came back with one dress and 2 pairs of shoes one a boot. They got home at 545pm.
Saks called apparantly Jean placed an order to be delivered at home, for 1200! at Estee Lauder, I guess she forgot she placed a 300.00 one for her Vday gift from Bill from Nordstroms. Avril from Saks called to say she needed a billing address, I told her forget the order, she was a little miffed, but cest la vie! Jean keeps asking about the order, I told her "Jean you already placed an order for Estee from Nordstroms, all she really cared about was the "gift with purchase' some hideous crocidile tote. Probably worth 20 dollars.
Bill called me all weekend, for many different reasons, I tried to make him more independent but it didnt work, I feel bad for him I think he has a fear of falling now. I cleared out all the clutter surrounding his chair/lamp/desk area so now he has a 4ft walkway to walk through, I also strongly suggest using the urinal and Jeans bathroom if he has to go to the toilet, its safer than his.
When Cookie arrived and brought Jean in, I was in the middle of putting on Bills socks, the anti embolytic ones, Jean was coming down the hall, and Cookie was at the threshold of the door, bringing in the items Jean bought. Jean may have had slipperey shoes (rained Friday) and she tipped over and slid down the side of the door, fortunatly we were both there to save her so to speak from 'crashing" to the ground. I assessed her from head to toe, and the only thing she had was a skin tear very minor on her L elbow where her elbow slid down the door jamb. I cleaned and dressed it. I gave her two tylenol and watched her closley she had no c/o pain, or decreased movement or difficulties the remainder of the day. I too noticed Bills little 3 scrapes on his arm from his fall with Ruth, I cleaned and put neosporin on them.
I only got one receipt from Cookie for the dress, she said they may be in Jeans purse.. I dont see them but I will check the bags that made it home.
Weekend pretty good, I hope Bill can sleep through the night for the other girls, its hard to not sleep yet run around all during the day as you all can atest too.
Some suggestions:
A queen size bed for downstairs.. its been 4 years of sleeping on a twin that Cookie bought at a mismatch sale for 79 bucks! I feel like the princess an the pea lol. Maybe we can chip in and get one, Queen at the wholesalers is about 400.oo ? just a thought.
Clear out clutter, our downstairs, bathroom and drawers are really getting cluttered, by Jeans cast away beauty products, I will work on the drawers under the TV and try to de clutter, its, and the closet, which is a lot of my left there clothes.
Im going to be bring my dryer lint removal kit, as the dryer takes forever to dry, not cost effective at all. And i know we dont over pack it and we empty the lint trap, maybe its just so compacted with lint? I will try it this weekend.
Bill has not shown any interest in going anywhere, he grumbles an sighs at the thought of going out and going to dinner, and he really is fine with sitting watching TV and getting served dinner back in his room. But Jean is stuck at home, wanting to just move paintings and switch furniture around as an activity. Maybe we can :
Get Bill on a antidepressant? I know hes on one but Im sure its not effective anymore.
And maybe we can plan more activities where Jean gets picked up, and goes our for a few hours. Whats the point in forcing Bill, he lolligags to get ready, hes miserable the time hes out, its a huge safety risk and he really doesnt show any enthusiasm, as evidenced by the fact that he takes his card out immediatly when we get there, so we can leave quicker "quoted from Bill"
Also Farooqui sucks! the staff is incompetant and RUDE, Farooqui served his purpose and now its time to move on. I checked on Aetna and did the doc grade report
this is a gerontologist which I feel they need

WEEKEND 2/8- 2/10
HAPPY EARLY VALENTINES DAY!
Weekend going well, arrived Friday, house was immaculate, Jean taking her mid morning nap and Bill almost there too. Ruth had Bill showered and shaved. Joan arrived around 11 with appraisers, Jean slept through it all. They left after about 30 minutes. Jeans candles arrived, she was quite pleased, placed a few around that she picked, and hid the rest in the candle closet. She really wants the fresh cut roses one to burn in Bill's batrhoom, but hes not too keen on the whole candle scene.
330, showered Jean and got her ready, we used all the new make up she bought at sephora, and in the shower used the hair treatments and scrubs, then lotioned her up with her new lotions. Despite the extensive make up she bought she indicated she forgot to buy face creams from Estee ... that led to a "I could call Cookie and maybe she and I can go buy a jar of cream." apparently Jean doesnt remeber the 1000.00 dollar Estee shopping about a year ago, where only 250.00 of it actually made it back to Jeans counter. I suggested she tell me what she needs from her myriad of pages torn from Macy's, Dillards etc. I cut it down to half as Ruth did at Sephora, and ordered it online, I figured it will save a Macy's trip with Crookie... (that typo was intentional) anyway.. It should arrive around the 14th or before so maybe we can intergrate it into a Valentines day gift too? Some of her requests were ludacrist.. blemish control lotion????
I also ordered, See's candy, from their website, only because Jean insists that it taste different as it comes from California and the one here they have to add too many ingredients. Well see its very hokie vday ish. Per Bills request I too ordered Roses, a gardenia plant (he wanted gardenias that he used to buy when they dated, but I could only get a plant) and a cyclamen Jean wanted.
So Jean has Estee, flowers and some other gifts that she picked out from magazines, that she said can too be part of her Bday. She wants to take Bill to V's barbershop for valentines day and get him cleaned up.
Bill did okay at dinner, he struggled bad to get to the bathroom at Un Baccio, as its far from the table and all the chairs are tall wine chairs so if he had to sit, it would be like trying to get him on a bar stool. I was scared at one point that he was gonna go down, ps in case anyone ever feels that way with Bill, the BEST thing to do.. is grab his back belt, and knee under his groin from behind, and safely slid him to the ground. You CANNOT break his fall he is much bigger than us and he is "dead weight" so to speak, it would be impossible for any of us to break his fall and not sustain a slipped disc.
PS. Some cranky Jay electrician. Popped over Friday, he just ran down the house, flew open the gate and started tooling around with the box by the hose. I went out and said Uh can I help you? without even turning around he said "Jay sent me, im fixing the lights" I said oh im sorry you startled me, the gate house never called and said anyone is coming. he responded " well Jay sent me, you want em fixed or not?!" I was like OMG you pricky bastard! I told him welll yeah we want them fix.. BUT JAY DOES NOT LIVE HERE> I called Howard who gave me the same line of OH Jay sent him. me cave man.. I reiterated to Howard I know Jay sent him,, but we need a courteous call. He said he would do it next time. Speaking of Jay Im so glad my shift doesnt fall on his. Really what does he do? cant we just hire Jaime? He does all the work.
Enough ranting, Bill and Jean doing great, we are gonna try to call Amanda, Jean upset we havent seen them. She had me drive past her house and said " well why in the world is there a for sale sign there" I told her maybe its for a house at the end of the street. So we will try to give her a buzz to say hi.

Jean's ideas for the new house---Ruth
1. Wood floors
2. Bathtub for Jean that is easily accesible-
3. Walk in shower that is big enough for 2 people- so that we have an easier time showering Bill and Jean.
4. Bidet- "Bill is dying for a bidet, he sits on the bathroom counter to wash himself" says Jean
5. Higher toilets, with the necessary hand rails.
6. 2 bathroom sinks that apart from each other- Jean does not want to be near Bill when she is getting ready.
7 Bathroom vanity, where Jean can spread out all her products and sit to have her make up done in good light.
8. More modern bathroom.
Kitchen-
1. Hot water dispenser.
2. Jean is not that concerned with new appliances since she doesn't cook much. A dishwasher is mandatory though.
3. 3 bathrooms- 1 for Bill, 1 for Jean, 1 for the girls

Feb. 5,6,7 RUTH- Important dates for the month of FEB at the end of this blog
I came in early Tuesday morning, to find Jean in the kitchen ready to go to her appointment. Melissa helped me get her in the car and Jean was unusually moody and snapped at Melissa quite a few times. I asked Jean in the car what was bothering her and she said nothing. I asked her why she was being so cranky and snippy with me and Melissa and she said she didn't know that she was.
Once at Khaled's we found out that the tech had some emergency and had to leave suddenly so we rescheduled the appointment. Jean was quite pleased with the news that she did not have to see any doctor and asked if we could go shopping instead. I told her fine, she asked to go to Target. Jean bought several outfits form Target and we perused the health and beauty section for about an hour. She picked up shampoos, body washes, creams, tanning lotions, etc.
After Target we headed to Scottsdale fashion square, she wanted to go to ULTA, but decided Sephora was a better choice. Parking was a nightmare, but we finally found a spot near Sephora and walked in thru Anthropologie, which we found out is a really cute store, but way too pricy. Jean bought a new bathrobe, a dress, a shirt, a skirt, a purse and a candle. She is very happy with her knew finds, make sure Cookie never hears of this place. I really had to keep reminding Jean how much everything was, so that she could keep some type of budget in mind. After that we perused Sephora, which is a candy store like experience for Jean. She kept grabbing stuff and asking for more products from the ever so helpful staff. Once we got to the register and had everything rung up the total came up to 1000.70- I told the cashier- that we had to cut that total in half. Jean and I went thru the pile a second time and decided what she didn't really need right now- and got the total down to 550.00 almost half. We left that place and went home.
Maria was at the house when we arrived, I started making a grocery list and asked Bill and Jean what they wanted from the store. We assembled quite a list of goodies, Maria chimed in and asked for cleaning supplies too. Melissa volunteererd to do the shopping since she was still here and I agreed that it would be quicker. The list was super long and Melissa got everything on the list, including paper goods, cleaning supplies, tons of fruits and vegetables and lots of healthly figure friendly snacks. She was worried that she spent too much, but I think the kitchen is well stocked with healthy alternatives and we shouldn't need to do a grocery order for a few weeks. Good job Melissa.
Wednesday- I woke up to no hot water---I called Jay and he told me to check the pilot light on the water heater which I did. I couldn't get it lit, so Jay was nice enough to come over hear and light it himself. After about 6 hours the water was hot again. Jean and I took the time to reorganize her "dressing room." She was unaware of how much she spent at Chico's last week, and also decided some of it had to go back. Her dressing room is organized by clothing type, color and outfits. I was too exhausted to finish the purses or shoes, so they are thrown in there haphazardly. The day was quiet- I gave Jean a late afternoon shower and lathered her skin with tanning lotion. Bill once again refused a shower. Made artichokes that Melissa picked up from Fry's with half a bottle of Italian. They were suprisingly fabuolous.
Jean's toilet is clogged---Called Donhauser- he will be out of Friday to fix it and change out the downstairs faucet.
Roofer came by to look at the roof- went over the results in detail with Jean and I- He will discuss them with Joan.
Thursday- John came over at 2pm- before John got here Jean was asleep dreaming about chocolate pie- we ordered some chocolate pie from Marie Callenders which arrivved after John had left.
Jean and I hung up the new clock that arrived from Pierre Deux and put the rooster seat pad on the rocking chair.
On the Agenda-
2/11- Bill has a manadatory post op appointment with Khaled-2:40pm
2/15 Jean has Bday girls at El Chorro @12pm

Fridays highlights were that jean and i went to the nail salon she got her usual mani and padi, after that we went soma cafe, jean got a hot choclate and a cookie and we also took some food to go.
sunday i arived about half past noon, Jennifer and i went throught the recepit from jean smost recent shopping destruction(per joan).we calculated that she spent 1600 at chicos ,all but 250 of it were there.Jean also got about 8 pairs of the same pant, 4 of which were the same color.monday was uneventful, other than john the trainers visit.tuesday ruth arrived in the morning and took jean to her appointment, i stayed with bill, during which time maria came to clean and jay made his weekley tuesday appearance.I called the roof guy , he will be coming on wedensday at 1045 , at which time he will do a assesment, and come back to make nessasary repairs.Shortley after ruth and jean got to the doctors they told her the technician had a emergency and thay needed to reschedule.Jean wanted to use this oportunity to make a quick shopping trip target and anthropologie.they got back at 2 pm. i finished up with some of the tidying , while ruth took bill and jeans grocery order, jean had alot of specific recipies that she wanted items for.I went to the grocery store (frys).I stocked up on cleaning and paper products , as well as tons of cannned goods and frozen dinner , condiments, things that are not ordered evey week, maria also requested certain products to keep at the house for when she comes to clean,We got alot of nice produce as well a few weeks of laundry detergent , paper towels and toilet paper, which was a great deal sale.i was there for 2 hours and had 2 full carts when they were bagged up.I am not sure how i got the cart to the register, even the bottom of the cart was full and the top was over flowing, it was quite a balancing act.Ruth and i put it away and i blogged then called it a week.

Sunday 2/3 Joanie
Ruth....no biggee about the name. I just helps me, the slow/visual learner.
Thanks for all the good information. Kahled did tell us that there might be no improvement, but I sure would have liked to have seen more. Maybe in the future. My Bill is still a little on the *gets tired easily* side, so I guess we just live with it?
Skip is coming over sometime to discuss some issues with his parents. I will let him read the posts and thank you very much for keeping up with the reciepts. You wont find one from Chico's...I am willing to bet a lot of money on that! I bet that reciept is *lost." But it might be interesting to have a tab of what actually got back? You might consider copying the price tags on one piece of paper and then we can compare it to the actual visa bill?
New topic...we are starting to talk to a rehab guy about rehabbing this house. Could you input to me, via the blog, a list of what you think might be most helpful to them right now? The current plan is to make the master bath with a walk in tub/shower, a half wall around the toilet and expand the closet (into where the toilet sits now) for Jean. REplace the appliances? What kind of flooring would work best in what rooms?
Thanks! Joanie
