We had a very eventful 24 hours. I was awoken twice last night by Bill who was unusually concerned about Jean talking in her sleep. Both times I told her that she was simply dreaming and she quickly went back to sleep. She was very restless last night, both of them were. Jean tends to get so excited about an event planned the next day that she becomes restless and can't sleep. I think that coupled with Bill's testing this morning made the night much longer than it normally is.
Bill was awake by seven, he watched a little TV and by 7:30am I asked him to start getting ready. I showered him again and scrubbed him down good. Helped him dry off and shaved what little stubble was left. Bill got dressed. Jennifer arrived by 8:15am, and we were off. Traffic was unusually bad and we were late to our 8:40am appointment. Joan met us at the curb and we quickly rushed into the office. Yesterday the tech told Joan and I that only one of us would be allowed to stay with Bill today because of the cramped space. Joan took the first shift, by 9:30am they were back in the lobby. Joan told me that Bill did very well, but began to feel woozy and flushed. Joan had to leave after that and I stayed with Bill for the next 1 1/2 hours until the tech called us back for the pictures. He had another 32 pictures taken, but it took longer than yesterday.
We were out of the office by 11am, I called Jennifer from the car and asked her to make some poached eggs for Bill, his special request. I would have picked them up from the quilted Bear, but they stop serving breakfast at 10:30am. Also called Farooqui's to ask that they call in a prescription for 5mg of Coumadin, the doctor F has temporarily changed the mg. until Bill is healed from his fall and until we can get his INR stabilized. They said they would.
Once home I quickly changed, threw on some make up and hairspray and then Jean and I left to have lunch with the B-day girls. As Jean was walking out of the house she told me that her eyes had began to burn and were red and watery, she looked very tired and her movements were very slow. I asked her if she wanted to stay home and rest and she adamantly said no. Once we arrived at the restaurant she perked right up and was her normal self only with sunglasses. Jean enjoyed catching up with the girls, we stayed 2 hours and then left. As I was putting her in the car, she asked if we could stop by Saks. We didn't end up going, but she has been asking for a few weeks. Maybe someone could plan a shopping trip and take her to all these shops she has been asking about. Just a thought.
Called pharmacy about sending more Depends, the girl took a message for Kim, but I am not sure Kim got it. Kim is the lady that normally handles our orders and if the Depends do not get delivered just call the pharmacy and ask for her, she will take care of it.
That's all- have a good weekend!
